October is Black History Month This link will take you to Black History month website, the theme of Black History month 2025 is 'Standing Firm in Power and Pride'.  The website a hosts articles celebrating the achievements of great Black leaders, but also recognising the continuing racist attitude prevalent in many communities.  

This year the Branch is 'Teaming up' with the Show Racism The Red Card, come along to the Unison area in New Shire Hall and pick up a Show Racism The Red Card badge/wristband or a Black History wristband and show your support.
