Cambridgeshire UNISON Social Workers
The Branch has several hundred Social Workers as members, many working within Cambridgeshire County Council, and others based in Community and School settings. These pages are to support ALL Social Workers, we hope that the information and articles and campaigns will be supplied and driven, by our Social Work members.

CCC Social Work in Crisis - Latest News article from 5 Feb 2025
The Branch attended a what can only be described as a crisis meeting of Cambs County Social Workers earlier on in the year. This was a meeting Unison had not received an official invite to attend. It quickly became apparent why. Several Social Worker's contacted the Branch afterwards and it was agreed to follow up on these issues.
The Branch wants to hear from you on the following issues:
Work Load
Pay including the latest pay award
Working hours
Breaks
Overtime
