Reform Party in the County Council
Reform in the County Council is not immune from disaster or controversy. In October last year Reform Councillor Des Watt left without any fanfare: Reform rocked as Cambridgeshire councillor quietly quits the party - News for Peterborough and Cambridgeshire
Who can forget and we shouldn't, the comments made by Reform Councillor Andy Osborn last year when he described Children in care as 'evil'. Cambridgeshire councillor's 'evil' remark appalling, says Starmer - BBC News Osborn was of course moved from the CYP committee shortly after this comment.
At the February 2026 Staffing and Appeals Committee, Reforms Councillor Colin Galbraith made his views known on Public Sector pay which is 'running away' and Pensions. It is clear from his remarks, that he and Reform believe we are overpaid and have a pension scheme that will be changed, should Reform ever be elected.
