(Nearly) New Branch Banner

In 2023 the Branch received its new banner from Cambridge based radical arts group 'Sew Angry'. It has seen 'action' supporting the Fire Brigade Union in their fight to maintain staffing on engines, at Stop the War marches and at this years Trade Union Festival 'With Banners Held High'
At the bottom is the slogan “All wealth is the product of our labour” a variation of 17th-century English philosopher John Locke’s assertion that “all wealth is the product of agricultural labour.” On its reverse, the banner proudly proclaims: “People before profit.”

It's great to see the branch investing in a new and striking banner; it truly conveys a strong sense of pride and team identification. At events or workplaces, a well-designed banner may greatly increase visibility and participation.
