Unison adds its name to statement on anti-migrant rhetoric.
Unison along with several other health care unions have released a statement - Keeping our communities safe from racism. The statement comes off the back of the recent 'Raise the colours' campaign, largely organised by Andrew Currien. Currien was a former key member of the English Defence League's leadership bodyguard team and also ran a 'security' firm for the far right party British First. Currien has previously been jailed for his part in a racist death, convicted 2009.
