Migrant workers from all over the UK will be converging on Westminster, on Wednesday 10th June as part of a Day of Action.
It's not too late to get involved in support of this Unison campaign either. All you need to do is join the campaign at Westminster on Wednesday from 2pm. A demonstration departs Parliament square at 2.30pm making its way to Downing Street to deliver a message to the Prime Minister.
Another group of workers will go to the Home Office and hold a vigil in memory of those who have suffered under the sponsorship system.
The day ends with a closing rally in Parliament Square at 4.15pm.
The Fair Visa campaign is being led by Unison General secretary Andrea Egan, Andrea is asking ministers to:
drop plans to extend settlement to 15 years,
Introduce sector wide visa to end employer control.
Deliver a Fair Pay Agreement for social care.
However you can support this vital campaign to end exploitation of care workers, will be appreciated. Attend the rally or write to your local MP asking that they support the above requests.
